L to R: Tony Burton, Jack Hooley, Paula Philips, Sandra Mason, Jean Southern, Marion Reid and Tim Westlake from Barnsley Friendly Masonic Lodge.

Tim chose BIADS as his local charity of the year during his time in office as his own mother had been affected by dementia for many years. Tim presented 91 year old Jack Hooley, who cares for his wife Joyce, with the £1,000 cheque at their carer support group. Tim said the event was particularly poignant as his Mum passed away two weeks ago and he understands how living with dementia devastates the whole family. BIADS will ensure that the generous donation is spent in Barnsley supporting people with dementia and their families.
