Birdwell Gala - Saturday 16th April 2011

On the 16th of April BIADS had a tombola stall at Birdwell Gala. Once again we were overwhelmed by the generosity of our members and supporters who gave us bottles of all shapes and sizes for the stall - thank you one and all.

The weather was kind to us and we raised £216.06. Thanks also to those people who gave up their Saturday to man the stall.

Besides raising funds to enable us to continue our work supporting those affected by dementia in Barnsley we gave out numerous leaflets about our organisation and the work we do, so fund raising and awareness raising at the same time!!
