Holiday to St Annes 2010 - Friday 12th November to Monday 15th November

Our turkey and tinsel holiday this year was at the Lytham St Annes where we took over the Monterey Beach hotel.

Saturday saw a trip to the fudge factory where we saw a demonstration of fudge being made and had some free samples. Many brought fudge, toffee and nougat to take with them back home.
Some braver souls in our party risked the elements and went round Blackpool.

The 'highlight of the holiday' was the 'BIADS has talent' show later that evening. We were treated to singers, renditions of poems and magic. The two joint winners were dance acts - a dying swan from Swan Lake and a riverdance duo.

Following the BIADS talent contest we were all visited by Santa and given presents.

On Sunday morning everyone went for some retail therapy to Barton Grange Garden Centre. This was followed by an evening of dancing and entertainment.

Monday saw us making our way back home with a stop at Boundary Mills for some lunch and a chance to make some last minute shopping.

A good time was had by all and we look forward to seeing you all again on our next holiday in March at Morecambe.
