Dodworth Colliery MV Brass Band Concert - Sunday 5th September 2010

Over 100 people attended our concert on Sunday 5th September at Ardsley House Hotel, Barnsley.

Dodworth Colliery Brass Band treated us to a wonderful programme of music ranging from show songs to Dvorak to a medley of wartime favourites.

Everyone agreed that it was an excellent evening and the band played superbly.

We would like to thank Ardsley House for the use of their facilities, the band, under the baton of Eliot Darwin for supporting us and all our friends who attended the concert.

Overall the concert raised £450 which will be used exclusively in Barnsley to support people affected by dementia.
